Phoenix Warmth

It’s been a while, not because I haven’t nothing to focus on but because I’ve been focused on many different things.  But today was different today was a rebirth in a sense.  The world stopped in March, not rotating or existing but for me physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually & financially.  On Sunday March 15th I was scheduled to host an event for St. Augustine Senior High School Mothers Day Brunch but I could not because of the pandemic.  If you have read anything else you know I hurt my back.

Well today I was able to execute that event, almost 18 months after securing it.  It was gratifying seeing the mothers and sons event finally walk thru the front doors.  It was as if my world was restarting, in the quite moments of the event, I smiled with delight.  In the loud moments of laughter, I smiled.  Watching the event play out from start to finish was gratifying, it signaled we were making a turn and life will get better & normal again.
